Please update to storeBackup 3.1 in karmic

The storeBackup version in the jaunty repository is the old 1.19-7. It would be nice to have the new 2.0 version:

Release Candidate 2 for StoreBackup Version 3.0 is available as of Tue 03 Mar 2009 09:53:15 PM UTC. Is it too late for Jaunty?

putting a release candidate into a release seems like a bad idea anyway...
but unfortunately it is too late to even get version 2 in.
sorry, I didn't get anything ready in time.
I will however provide a backport for jaunty as soon as version 3 becomes stable.
and I'll try to get a backport of version 2 ready sometime next week...

I have preliminary packages, but to get them to the quality (added man pages) that they need to be to be uploaded, I am waiting for an email back from the upstream author.

For now, you can install them by running:
sudo apt-get install bzip2 perl debianutils
wget http://ryan52.info/~ryan52/storebackup_3.0-1_all.deb
sudo dpkg -i storebackup_3.0-1_all.deb
