Bug Description

While on battery power, my screen will automatically dim when I don't move my mouse or use the keyboard...great...like a Mac right? Well when I come back to my computer the screen will brighten back up only a fraction of what it dimmed and I manually have to adjust brightness again. What gives?

that's just a feeling, but it sounds at least a little bit, like my bug 307299 where "something about the screen brightness seems to be weird" too

Is this GNOME or KDE? (They use different power managers)
