pulls in wv which pulls in texlive (too big!)

Binary package hint: tracker

tracker depends on wv. wv recommends texlive. Since tracker is in ubuntu-desktop the whole texlive bunch is pulled in by default, which consumes exorbitant amounts of disk space (and CD space).

It's maybe wv that should be changed though, rather than tracker.

The recommends of tracker on wv should not be dropped, as this would leave tracker unable to index MS Word documents (unless someone wanted to reimplement the filter by other means...)
