realtime-lsm-source difficult to install

Bug Description

realtime-lsm-source is next to impossible to install due to needing the user to read /usr/share/doc/realtime-lsm-source/README.Debian (which the user is not told about), and then has to run two commands, in addition to needing gcc-3.4 installed to compile said module (even though the gcc metapackage requires gcc-4.0) (this is a bug in another package)

The only sane fix would be to allow realtime-lsm to automatically build the source package without needing to bother the user with such things, and the fix I'd like to see would include realtime-lsm in the kernel package itself (it would cut down on needing to install extra packages, and it would further round out Ubuntu's kernel as one oriented to desktop/workstation usage).

I believe this is not a bug in realtime-lsm per se. I also needed gcc-3.4 to compile the external modules for a well-known WinModem, but the compiler wasn't included in the Breezy CD.

In Warty and Hoary, the gcc version used to compile the included kernel is shipped in, but this time in Breezy it was not, hence making linux-headers-`uname -r` inutile for the purpose of building additional modules for the kernel.

Thats not exactly the point I was making. The fact that the user needs to know this /at all/ is a bug in how the system handles stuff. Its not a bug in Breezy kernels either. Its a bug that realtime-lsm-source isn't depending on the kernel's gcc directly or indirectly; and this probably isn't the only package being bitten in the ass because of it.

And btw, Linuxant can bite me.

Oh, and as I said above, I'd like to see this come by default in Breezy+1 kernels, because it is very useful for some applications (for example, jack and anything that uses jack). Nothing would be lost by doing this.
