Works fine in Intrepid. What version of KDE/Kubuntu are you using?

Same problem guys, using KDE4.2rc1
Konversation never remembers window size using KWin
If you use Compiz/Emerald, is the only way to make it remember.

Does this issue still exist for you in konversation 1.2 alpha2?

I can not confirm this. When I change the window size, hide the window and show it again (via the system tray icon), the size is what I changed it to. Using KDE 4.2.4

This generally happens with a clean config file. (e.g. fresh install) To fix this, change the width/height to what you want, quit Konversation, (not just close the window) and restart. Now Konversation should remember your window settings. This is a kdelibs issue, however.

Hi there!

Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. But don't worry! This issue is being tracked by the KDE developers at: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157293
Once fixed in KDE, it will be included in Kubuntu once the KDE version the fix is in in reaches Kubuntu.

Thanks!
