NO SOUND with flash movies (flashplayer & gnash)

NO SOUND with flash movies after update to UBUNTU 8.10 in Firefox 3.0. Played OK on UBUNTU 8.04.

I've tried both Adobe Flashplayer 10 (default) and mozilla-plugin-gnash 0.8.4 Ubuntu1, movies play no sound with either.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest version? Thanks in advance.
Also, Firefox will only recognize one flash plugin at a time, so make sure to uninstall one before installing the other.

I am not getting sound from firefox 3.11 w/flash or from 3.5 watching the video on mozilla's site without flash.

I did not realize where this bug took me. I am dealing with karmic. I can't delete this.
