I mainly just filed this bug because the package I'm uploading to REVU
is supposed to close it.

My version seems to perform horribly with the little menu dialogs, but
I don't know if that's the way I packaged it or an upstream bug or an
nVidia driver bug or Qt bug or what.. If someone else could test my
stellarium on intel and ati hardware and report how the dialogs
perform, I'd appreciate it.

ethana2 I have downloaded your packages on an Intel G31 using Intrepid, version 0.10.0-0ubuntu2.

I have only one problem, but I think it has nothing to do with you package nor with Stellarium upstream.
I cant see some characters, I think it is related with this bug with also occurs in Googleearth (opengl):

Have you tried commenting out DRI in your xorg.conf? If you do and the
characters are displayed, it would look to be a graphics driver bug.

ethana2 Yes, GE shows the fonts right with DRI disabled, but of course, it is to slow.

I have tried with openSUSE 11.1 and GE nor Stellarium have any problem :-)
