Bug Description

Binary package hint: pwgen

The program "pwgen" does not include symbols when used with the "secure" flag:
$ pwgen -ys 10 5
BXK13RVW09 f21sRPoPc0 N2MNOKsK00 puwqBdGo7k g9Q1Uli21Y

however, it works fine if the "secure" option is not enabled
$ pwgen -y 10 5
aijoo)Mai6 ia~feix5Ec ees8seaM$u Eph+oo8kee wa#h7Xung6

$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 8.10

I've verified this using pwgen package version 2.06-1build1 in Karmic. It works if you use:

wonderwoman:[~] pwgen -s -y 10 5
X=vdP'7lU- 93]J=D>XY= Rdf8o*p,E@ oMkbP~}J9= i"bu0Q^iF6

There is actually a patch in the upstream bug report.

This bug was fixed in the package pwgen - 2.06-1ubuntu1

---------------
pwgen (2.06-1ubuntu1) karmic; urgency=low

  * Fix pwgen -s so it works after other options (Closes: #436912,
    LP: #297470)
