no cdrom driver detected in alternate install, sata drive, 8.10 and 8.04

this is really annoying problem

it happens only on alternate install, both in ubuntu and kubuntu, the same in 8.04.1 and 8.10

at the beggining, it says that it was unable to detect cdrom

i have an asus motherboard, pentium quad, and dvdrw from samsung (SATA)

Mi sistema operativo es Windows XP Home sERVICE pACK 3, NO SE SI LO QUE QUIEREN DECIRME ES QUE EL ENLACE QUE ME ADJUNTAN CONTIENE LOS DRIVERS PARA QUE EL PROGRAMA FUNCIONE. LA VERDAD ES QUE POR SUS MOLESTIAS QUE SON IMPAGABLES MERECEN QUE LES PRESTE ATENCIÓN PERO ES QUE NO TENGO NI LA MAS MINIMA NOCION DE INGLES Y NO COMPRENDO NADA DE LO QUE ME DICEN EN SUS CORREOS.PERDONEN LAS MOLESTIAS, Y SI PUEDEN TRADUCIRLOS SE LO AGRADECERIA, SINO ES ASÍ, NO SE MOLESTEN EN REMITIRME MÁS EMAILS.
