Bug Description
Binary package hint: gedit
When I go to the External Tools window and I am presented with the panel of current External Tools on the left pane, if I should decide to rearrange them (to change the order shown to choose from, for instance) it removes all the data from the commands and leaves me with empty tool entries. For example, I move the entry "Beautify PHP" up to the top of the list. When I close the window and load it up again, I usually see my tool renamed to "beautiful-php" and all of the commands, description, etc. are reverted to blank entries.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it, because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http:// www.chiark. greenend. org.uk/ ~sgtatham/ bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. wiki.ubuntu. com/DebuggingPr ocedures
We have instructions on debugging some types of problems. http://
At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
4. a screenshot of the window you're seeing.
Thanks!
