The udev upgrade to 124-9 only fixed one of my two ide dvdrw drives. The other still opens and then closes.

The second drive will eject dvds and plain audio discs fine unless the working drive is open or opening. It will not operate properly no matter what if the disc has music and pics or video. I included my lshw -C disk output.

It didn't fix either of my two drives. I'm on the 124-9 udev upgrade that supposedly fixed the whole problem.

This bug is still being tracked elsewhere; at this point we do not believe it is udev, and that udev was just causing it to happen more - there is probably a different package (HAL, etc.) causing this as well

I do believe it is a issue with HAL. It seems to be related to how
audio/picture cds get mounted.

Also, to be clear the UDEV updates did nothing for my machine.
