Confirmed, I have the same problem. MS recently updated their webmail site so maybe that is the problem, when you log into the site I get told that my browser is not supported and am given links to Firefox and IE which are supported. So the site does not seem to recognize the linux version of Firefox

The same as as above.. Windows Live asks me to update my browser to the latest version and gives a link for their websites. It also shows a link to continue with Windows Live Hotmail, saying that maybe it won't work correctly. Then in Windows Live eveyrthing works except the write message panel.

Seems like Windows Live hotmail can't detect the browser version of Firefox. Also seems like a java applet is not working correctly.

   I have the same problem!! Hotmail always aking me to update to the latest version of firefox...I already have the latest!!!! Long live Hotmail!!!!

The funny thing is that with firefox 3.0.0 there is no problem... I can write message and I dont receive any update suggestion.
I think that is a firefox problem
