with ubuntu8.10 the filebrowser Nautilus 2.24.1 is awfully slow.

Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
The dispaly of the file-browser became verry slow when i upgraded from 8.04 to 8.10.
I dont remember if ther was also a upgrade in nautilus.
Is there any alternative?
