summary after each update

after update manager finishes his work I get notification that update has failed. After pressing OK everything seems OK to me. Print screen in attachment. I have intrepid.

Yes, my system is behind a proxy. I just formatted and updated my system and
now everything workes as a dream:).

Happy to hear your issue has been resolved.

msttcorefonts has a known issue, bug 56880, that prevents the installation behind some proxies.
A workaround is also available at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=895432
