totem (2.24.2) youtube plugin

ubuntu intepid on dell 6400/1505

totem hangs on youtube search video through youtube plugin. the only action I can do after that is force quit.
this plugin is important for me cause let me play youtube video without opening firefox and flash.
this plugin used to work really good on gutsy.

and besides the "bbc plugin" is more often (this podcast is not available outside UK).

yes this is still a problem for me.

to recreate the bug what i do is: open totem and search through youtube plugin some video. than totem hangs. the only action I can take is "force quit"

I don't know how to use this totem youtube plugin through terminal.
