Trivial patch to make show-cow work

This does NOT seem to work on any of the more recent versions, including Intrepid!

The show-cow option existed in Dapper and resolved bug 43687 however it appears to have disappeared.

I've declined the intrepid nomination, as I don't think I could justify a stable update for this at this point. Thanks for the patch, though - I've applied it for Jaunty.
