Duplicates portlet makes it hard to unsubscribe

In some well-duplicated bugs, the duplicate listing is a couple of screens long. This makes it almost impossible for new Launchpad users to unsubscribe, as they won't know to look for the unsubscribe link. It's particularly bad because this is the sort of user that will report this sort of bug.

Returning this to Triaged as it hasn't been touched for a while. Please confirm that this is still an issue after the redesign (I'm working on the assumption that it is).

Yes, this is still an issue: see bug 429322 for example.

This is one of the bugs that could be fixed by making the list of duplicates an expandable section in the main content area, rather than a sidebar.

This is ultimately the same issue as bug 872848. Portlet grow too large. Their size hides information below them, and the information in them cannot be understood in a glance. In general, a portlet should not list more that a few items, perhaps 7, to be understood. Some portlets breakup large lists into smaller ones. In the case of the subscriber and duplicate portlets, this cannot be done...and it should not be tried.

I ultimately care how many duplicates there are; If I want to see them I can expand to portlet or view another page.
In the case of subscribers, I want to know how many people are subscribed. I am only interest in *who* is subscribed when I am choosing to subscribe or unsubscribe someone.
