Bug Description

Could you update to Pidgin 2.5.2? This maintenance release offers some fundamental fixes:

    * libpurple
          o Fixed a crash on removing a custom buddy icon on a buddy.
          o Fixed a crash caused by certain self-signed SSL certificates.
          o Enable a number of strong ciphers which were previously disabled when using NSS. (Thanks to Marcus Trautwig.)

and other additional little new features

Intrepid Ibex is already in freeze phase. Pidgin update will be available through update repository.

Why has it been set as "Invalid"? Shouldn't it be "In progress" or "Fix released" (if it has been packaged but not pushed to the repos)?
