Places menu doesn't work

Bug Description

In principal menu, places doesn't work, I can navigate from other folder in desktop, but no from menu.
(Intrepid Ibex beta)

It works for me. Could retest it with the latest updates installed. Be more specific how to reproduce this issue.

Similar problem. For a while any option in "places" was launching Amarok!! I uninstalled Amarok. Now I just get an error message if I try to, say, open the home folder through Places.

Hi,

I think so. And I think it helped me fix it. BUT have a look at the
screenshot it's still giving me the option to open my 'tom' folder with
'vlc' (it used to be amarok but I deleted it).

This started yesterday after I installed the latest recommended updates.
