Bug Description
Binary package hint: ffmpeg
Hi,
ffmpeg seems to be build without faac and xvid support. I'm not sure to see a valid reason (patents?) since mp3 and h264 support is already enabled (but I may miss something).
It would be worth including it in intrepid, as it would avoid users having to enable unofficial medibuntu repository for this.
The attached debdiff fixes this issue. Though these confflags are added when ffmpeg is built with DEB_BUILD_
It builds/works fine here.
Thanks.

19:46:43 <siretart> no, if that builds and works in intrepid, feel free to upload that patch to intrepid
19:47:04 <siretart> the --enable-gpl part seems unnecessary
19:47:32 <siretart> and please don't forget to commit to our bzr branch!
