adept_manager 'hangs' when entering lib in search window

I am using Kubuntu 8.10 beta.

When entering lib in the search window of the adept_manager it hangs. Adept manager version is: Version 3.0 Beta 4 (Sheldon) using KDE 4.1.2

I have the same problem. Adept manager hangs for several minutes as soon as you type "lib" into the search field. Adept installer hangs for about half a minute if you search for "lib". Both eventually recover, but it's quite frustrating to have to wait so long. I'm using adept 3.0~beta4ubuntu3 on an amd64 machine.

spoke with mornfall, and he approved this as a fix (setting the min number of chars from 3 to 4 avoids the lag).
