keytool crashes with java.lang.IllegalArgumentException

This happened while running:

$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure -ap low

Description: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch)
Release: 8.10

ca-certificates configuration

This package may install new CA (Certificate Authority) certificates when
upgrading. You may want to check such new CA certificates and select only
certificates that you trust.

 - yes: new CA certificates will be trusted and installed;
 - no : new CA certificates will not be installed by default;
 - ask: prompt for each new CA certificate.

ca-certificates configuration

This package installs common CA (Certificate Authority) certificates in
/usr/share/ca-certificates. . Please select the certificate authorities you
trust so that their certificates are installed into /etc/ssl/certs. They will be
compiled into a single /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt file.

  1. brasil.gov.br/brasil.gov.br.crt
...

(Enter the items you want to select, separated by spaces.)

Certificates to activate: 123 124 125 126 127 128 129 130 131 132 133 134 135 136 137 138

Updating certificates in /etc/ssl/certs....done.
Running hooks in /etc/ca-certificates/update.d....Certificate already exists in keystore under alias <visa_international_global_root_2>
Do you still want to add it? [no]: Wrong answer, try again

Hi there,

I got this debugging report in another way, but it describes the curl error and pins down a program line, so please have a look at it.

I got this by running '$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure -ap low' and debugging it by attaching the 'pidof' dpkg-reconfigur.
