Bug Description
Binary package hint: vlc
Up-to-date intrepid
Installed: 0.9.4-1ubuntu1
Affected 32 and 64bit systems
With or without Compiz enabled
When opening video, vlc player starts the video in external window
rather than integrated interface like it used to.
Also when in fullscreen, controls don't appear, though selected in preferences.
(show a controller in fullscreen)
Tried to change the settings, with no avail.
Tried to remove .vlc/ with no effect, funny thing is that vlc didn't create new settings in home
LANG=C ls -la .vlc/
ls: cannot access .vlc/: No such file or directory
