Bug Description

After the latest updates my keyboard and mouse stopped working at the login window. I cant type or move the mouse at all..the only thing I can do is switching the terminals with ALT + FunctionKey and when I move to a different terminal so, I can type and login without any trouble but if I switch bag to terminal 7 (graphical terminal) I can't type or move the mouse at all.

Ist on intrepid. As I read in the ubuntu forums the latest updates accidentally uninstalled many important packages...like x-org-input-all (not sure if that's the correct name). I guess that's the problem. Im trying to connect at the command line in order to update my system manually.

I manually installed xserver-xorg-input-all to fix it.
