Please, try to obtain a backtrace by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash.

Set to incomplete until we have a backtrace or more info.

Trying to get a backtrace made plasma unusable. So I can't reduplicated the situation to get a backtrace.

Got it to work by messing with KDE Wallet. Add a wallet. Let Twitter Plasmoid save a password in the wallet.

Note: I'm running Compiz instead of kwin. I don't know if that makes any difference. If there's any other testing you would like, please let me know.

I have the same crash. I tried messing with KWallet like Pratik suggested, but it still keeps crashing. I'm attaching a backtrace, hope it's of any use.

Can confirm this, since updating to 8.10 the Twitter Microblogging plasmoid causes plasma to crash as described in the report. I can configure it but once it tries to log in (or maybe when it receives something from twitter) plasma falls over and recovers.
Running KDE 4.1.3 with Kwin, no Desktop Effects, no Compiz.
