Bug Description

Binary package hint: ldm

In current LDM (Intrepid), when using LDM_SESSION to use an alternate desktop manager, this one is started directly and not through Xsession.
We'd need a different lts.conf variable to specify the session we want to start.

This bug has been fixed upstream in revision 911.
LDM now uses LDM_SESSION to set the session script to use (/etc/X11/Xsession by default) and LDM_XSESSION to specify the desktop manager.

This bug was fixed in the package ldm - 2:2.0.13-0ubuntu1

---------------
ldm (2:2.0.13-0ubuntu1) intrepid; urgency=low

  * new upstream version (2.0.13)
   * Exit loop cleanly when LDM_RUNONCE is set (LP: #278390)
   * Use Xsession to open the session (LP: #278391)
   * Cosmetic changes on the login window (positioning)
   * Add user filtering, defaults to allow everyone
   * Add support for pre-session rc.d scripts, defaults to none
