I tried to install the nvidia-glx-legacy drivers and received an error about having unmet dependencies. It says I need an xserver-xorg-core version greater than 1:0.99.0-1 and apt is telling me that I am using a newer version 2:1.5.1-1ubuntu1.

Hi Brumbach_j,
Thanks for reporting this bug. It isn't actually a problem with aptitude, it's a problem with the nvidia-glx-legacy package. I've changed the package associated with the bug report for you. Please could you let us know if you're still experiencing the problem with the latest version of the driver?
