Mouse loose acceleration settings when using another X Window

Bug Description

When using another X window (like Xnest or launching gdmthemetester), the new Window will not use your mouse gnome settings (which is normal) but when you close it, your mouse acceleration is not brought back.
You'll have to run gnome-mouse-properties and click on acceleration to bring it back.

Test case:
In gnome set acceleration to (very) slow so you could see a difference.
Open an Xnest :1 window.
Your mouse will have the «normal» acceleration.
Close your Xnest window and the mouse will still have the «normal» settings.

that's an xorg-server issue, GNOME only set the settings when you start your session, xorg should not change the configuration when you don't ask new values

Hi stemp,

Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn`, and attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file from after reproducing this issue. If you've made any customizations to your /etc/X11/xorg.conf please attach that as well.

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
