Bug Description
Binary package hint: synaptic
When I install Intrepid Alpha 6 ALTERNATE CD version of Ubuntu the system sounds tab functions are grayed out / not available.
I assume the may be because the O/S is not correctly configuring the sound card/system in my machine.
Don't have this problem in Gutsy.

Confirmed. I have the same although sound is functioning fine everywhere else, the sounds tab is grayed out.
