This is not a duplicate of bug #264168: the solution given in the other bug is specific to Tellico, and we have to find a specific solution to taskjuggler.
Anyway, it will be complicated as in Intrepid, only KDE4 is fully supported, and the KDE 3 libraries left in Intrepid doesn't cover libkcal.

You can compile it without the KDE "support", which basically means no GUI at all.

./configure --with-kde-support=no

works in intrepid, and the binary can be used to generate reports. My vote is still on this bug though, since the GUI is very nice.

This bug was fixed in the package taskjuggler - 2.4.1-1ubuntu2

---------------
taskjuggler (2.4.1-1ubuntu2) intrepid; urgency=low

  [ Jonathan Thomas ]
  * Compile without KDE support to make it installable in Intrepid. (LP: #271016)
  * Bump Standards-Version to 3.8.0

  [ Jonathan Riddell]
  * Add kubuntu_01_no_kde_ical.diff, stop it failing to build
