Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it, , because your description didn't include enough information. Please try with a new profile as outlined in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs. Also, please answer these question:

* How do you connect to the internet? Directly with your PC or with a router?
* Is the connection lost completely or is only firefox affected?
* Does this happen all the time?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Jaunty Jackalope. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/. Thanks again and we appreciate your help.

This bug is not being cused by firefox. If same version of ubuntu and firefox on both PC's more than likley its something with your home connection, maybe even network-manager. I am unable to reproduce this problem on any of my 4 set ups.
