Bug Description
I have installed Intrepid Kubuntu on my main machine (not ubuntu-desktop) and I use kmenuedit to resort the applications in the kmenu.
While in kmenuedit, almost all applications are duplicated. For example, two konsole listings, two system settings, and so on. If you install new applications, those are duplicated too. For example, I installed Thunderbird and there are two Thunderbird icons in kmenuedit.
These duplications do not appear in the actual kmenu. They only appear while you are working in kmenuedit.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better! This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/Bugs/ FindRightPackag e. I have classified this bug as a bug in kdebase- workspace- bin (which I believe to be correct but am not certain due to the KDE renaming scheme).
