segment fault

reproduce:

1) create a new figure
File -> New -> Figure

2) create a point on the new figure.
right click on the newly created figure, bring up the menu.
Point -> Free Point
click on the figure.

now, segment fault.

the strace file is attached.

I'm attaching the debdiff I got out of it. I think it is quite urgent, since it just makes the app finally usable.

Notice the corresponding Debian bug, http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=505554 , was solved with a much complete patch (it solves other issues too), so a sync will be appropriate and this patch can be discarded for Jaunty.
