Could I please ask for further details on when the error occurs? What should one do on the example page to cause a failure, or should it fail on loading? What happens when the error occurs?

I am asking for these details so that I may confirm the bug.

Matthew

I changed the program, so it does not involve float: none *BUT*
I put up a copy of the *old version* (new page name) so you can see the
error:

http://mynichecomputing.com/ReadIt/otranslateT.html

The float:none in the list at the bottom does not work on Linux Firefox 3
like it does on any other modern browser.

Thanks for following up.

Regards,

Larz

Yes. Just go to
http://mynichecomputing.com/ReadIt/otranslateT.html
and compare the display with what you see when you use IE to view this page.

In fact, it looks like the problem has spread and now Firefox 3.0.5 for PC
is
showing the problem

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Also is this a problem in Firefox 3.5? Thanks in advance.
