Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

On a fresh install of Ubuntu 8.04, after updates have been done when I try a site with Adobe Flash.
Firefox3 comes up with a message;

Click here to download plugin.

I follow instructions given, with the following result.

No suitable plugins were found.

I have tried a manual install of the plugin with no success so far.

We'd like to figure out what's causing this bug for you, but we haven't heard back from you in a while. Could you please provide the requested information?

Did you try to install the plugins manually using
sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

We are closing this bug report because it lacks the information we need to investigate the problem. Please reopen it if you encounter that this issue is still occurring or even better if you can check in latest Ubuntu Karmic version. To reopen the bug report you can click under the Status column, and change the Status back to "New". Thanks again!
