Bug Description

Binary package hint: thunderbird

In thunderbird version 2.0.0.14 (20080505) help is not working. Selecting help from menu Help->Mozilla Thunderbird Help or Help->Release Notes does not work. It simply does nothing.

Thank you for taking the time to report this. These menu options are supposed to load pages in Firefox. Can you please check under System->Preferences->Preferred Applications that Firefox is selected as your default web browser? If you are using firefox 2, you need to choose Custom and use the command "firefox-2 %s".

Thanks. I changed to firefox to be preffered web browser and help
started to work. It is still disappointing that it does not work from
default settings. Especially when I installed firefox together with
kubumtu as one package.

Typically Firefox is set as the default browser, something must have been different for you. It's working correctly now, so I will close this bug report. Thank you.
