I created new project. The project directory (empty) already existed.

QDevelop reported that it couldn't create the directory. After confirming QDevelop crashed.

please report the bug with the attached patch upstream(their bug tracker is located at http://code.google.com/p/qdevelop/issues/list), I don't have enough insights on QDevelop to know if it's right or not.

There upstream is nearly dead. I've already sent this patch them but I didn't have any response.
I'm mostly the only one who solves errors there last month.
