Bug Description

Bug #23380 suggests network monitor allow using wpa_supplicant for WPA. network
monitor is not a part of basic Ubuntu, however; the standard network interface
is the network-admin configuration applet.

WPA allows for the use of AES, a subset of the secure and computationally light
Rijndael algorithm approved for SECRET data at all key sizes (128, 160, 192, and
256 bit) and TOP SECRET data at 256 bit key sizes by the United States National
Security Agency (see Wikipedia: AES). WEP on the other hand allows only RC4,
which is breakable probabilisticly in about 10 minutes (including collection
time; 1 second of computation is needed) using the FMS method to repeatedly
partially regenerate the key until you have all the parts.

The network-admin tool should be enhanced with WPA configuration options for
wpa_supplicant. WEP is a liability that we should not be encouraging.
