xchat preferences load CPU 100%

Bug Description

Xchat loads CPU 100% when preferences dialog opened. On the background image setup tab, the field "image file" twinkles all the time. When exittong the preferences the CPU load remains. When closing the application, CPU load stops.

When manually setting the background image to "none", the CPU load also stops.

I am going to mark this bug as fix released. The issue under the upcoming intrepid is fixed and a debdiff for hardy is waiting at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xchat-gnome/+bug/153526 to be pulled and made into an update under SRU along with another bug.
