mythNews doesnt have mythconverg.newssites created by default

On a clean install it is not possible to add a news site to myth news. Looking at mythfrontend.log gives the following:

alex@mythbox:/var/log/mythtv$ tail mythfrontend.log

2008-06-17 22:09:47.339 DB Error (news: inserting in DB):

INSERT INTO newssites (name,category,url,ico) VALUES( 'qwe', 'custom', 'qwe', '' );

QMYSQL3: Unable to execute query
Database error was:
Table 'mythconverg.newssites' doesn't exist

Can you double check for mysql database corruption? That table should have
been made the first time you used mythnews.

I've checked the database with mysqlcheck and it doesn't report any problems. Bit of a strange one.

Does this problem still exist? If yes, can you try running optimize_mythdb.pl? Did you have a power outage or a hard shutdown before?
