Sound doesn't match video when I rip a DVD

When I rip a DVD and convert it to DivX, sound in AC3 does not match with frames. The sound starts late and I could not correct it.

Just ran into this on Jaunty. Tested with chapter 2 of Meet the Robinsons. Definite lag of... something like 1-5 seconds. Let me know if I can provide additional information (I'm pretty new at Linux this time around, so you'd have to give me semi-detailed instructions).

Alright, some more details. When trying to rip, you have the three choices to rip. I haven't made any modifications to the defaults. There is a lag in the sound for both DivX for Standalone Player and PC, High Quality.
