Bug Description
After headphones are plugged in, the speakers are not muted, so I can hear audio from both of them.
I have an HDA soundcard (chipset ALC262 Realtek)
This happens on a Sony Vaio.
I tried a lot of ways, including recompiling alsa from source code, but nothing changes.

Important update: to solve this issue on a VAIO vgn-nr21z you have to manually mute the front channel.
It disables the speakers and you can hear headphones only.
you can increase/decrease the headphones' volume managing the front channel even if it results as disabled. (double click on the volume-icon at the top side on the right.)
I guess it remains a strange behaviour, but in this case it seems to work.
Obviously, if you have to switch to the integrated speakers, you have to re-enable the front channel.
