Bug Description

The "Edit Bookmarks" dialog in Nautilus is very non-intuitive to use.

Steps to reproduce problem:
1) Create two or more bookmarks in Nautilus
2) Select "Edit Bookmarks"
3) In the Edit dialog, select a bookmark and rename it. Note that the name in
the list on the left changes to match the edit
4) Click on another bookmark name in the list
5) Edit second bookmark
6) Click close

Result: only the second bookmark rename is remembered - all other edits are
abandoned. You can force the changes to be saved by pressing enter after every
rename, but this is not clear from the dialog.

I think the expected behaviour would be that changes are either saved
immediately on renaming, or when the rename text box loses focus.

This bug was fixed in the package nautilus - 1:2.22.2-0ubuntu1

---------------
nautilus (1:2.22.2-0ubuntu1) hardy; urgency=low

  * New upstream version:
    - Add NautilusFileInfo APIs: can_write(), get_mount(), get_parent_info()
    - Do not try to autorun autorun.exe and autorun.inf
    - Automount in idle callback rather than at startup to
      improve user experience (lp: #201520)
    - Properly inhibit automount on startup, or for long login procedures
    - Do not automount directories in hidden hierarchies
    - Fix scrollbar display bug in "text besides icon" icon view mode
    - Do not thumbnail unreadable files
    - Correctly display bookmark icons (lp: #201523)
    - Fix blurry property window icon
    - Fix bookmark editing window (lp: #23459)
  * debian/nautilus.install, debian/nautilus-data.example:
    - install the archive mounter menu item as an example, it stills has
      some issues and should not be used by default in nautilus
  * debian/patches/05_places-sidebar_single-click.patch:
    - new version update

Bug still somewhat present in Lucid. Editing works fine for the bookmark menu (top menubar), but not at all for the sidebar. The "enter" trick after each change, described above, does not work here.

Here is a work around. Change the side panel to 'tree view' then use the top menu to edit the bookmark and save it. then change the side panel back to places and now it will be using the new bookmark label.
