Bug Description
Binary package hint: blueproximity
When I launch blueproximity, I get the following error (usually when I attempt to scan)
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/
macs = self.proxi.
File "/usr/share/
nearby_devices = bluetooth.
File "/usr/lib/

File "/usr/lib/
raise BluetoothError ("error accessing bluetooth device")
bluetooth.
I am using Ubuntu 8.04, my system is up to date as at 22 May 2008.
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Have you tried to use other bluetooth function like scanning for devices(not counting blueproximity) or sending a file through bluetooth?
Also is there any problem when pairing up your bluetooth device and your computer? (blueproximity requires them to be paired beforehand)
