Did you restarte firefox/your system?

Try to disable all extensions and see if it goes away.

Thanks for fast response Alexander,

I have tried 'em all but the problem still persist so, I completely
uninstall (with extension) and reinstall firefox in my system and the
problem run away.

I realize it's beta version and still under development, say thanks to
all "Firefox and Mozilla Team" from me.

Not at all, I used some extensions that don't included in Ubuntu package
too, like "Glubble Family Edition" and "Sxipper".

Now, I do not use those extensions anymore (suspected problem, maybe...)

if those are free-software (like in freedom), then you can ask
packaging for them on

I had the same problem after uninstalling icedtea-gcjwebplugin (on ubuntu 8.04 )
Try to re-install with the official package but nothing works !!

Yes it solved after uninstall and reinstall firefox 3.

Please see: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=767012 for
uninstalling firefox 3 completely in ubuntu 8.04 (I saved the page and
attach here, please open it).

To reinstall firefox 3, choose firefox 3 in "Add/Remove Aplication"
window.
