Here is what caused the error:

Setting up firehol (1.231-7ubuntu0.7.10) ...
update-rc.d: /etc/init.d/firehol: file does not exist
dpkg: error processing firehol (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Did you remove that file manually or is that a bug in the firehol package?

I did not remove anything manually. Possibly a bug in the package.
My system now shows 7.10 when i boot up, even though the upgrade/install
aborted.

So what can i do now? Download and install this package again?

tnx.

Benoy.

This appears to be a bug in firehol, however, so far I have not been able to trace it. There are a couple other bugs in the system with the same error message. Excuse me for not searching for them now, I'm currently at work.

You should be able to continue the upgrade if you remove firehol, however, this will leave your system without a firewall.
