Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Firefox will crash for no apparent reason.
The last time I was entering an item to sell on eBay and I paused for a minute or so to think about what to enter next and Firefox 3 Beta 5 just crashed.
I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy
Thanks

I've had the same problem with no apparent fix. Finally I quit running 8.04. Unfortunately with the last Firefox update for 7.10 the problem also happens occasionally with 7.10 now.
I can be doing almost anything on the internet and suddenly nothing. Blank screen and nothing. I have Centrino Duo running at 1.66 GHz, with 1Gb RAM on a Toshiba U2005 notebook. So far the problem has not shown up on my Dell Optiplex on any distro.
Another problem since Firefox 3.0 is the Toshiba will reboot on its own sometimes when Firefox is open.
