Bug Description
Binary package hint: thunderbird
1) Xubuntu, installed with 7.10, upgraded to 8.04
2) Installed: 2.0.0.14+
3) Expected behavior:
I expect Thunderbird to work like Gmail
4) Observed behavior:
While drafting a message, Thunderbird dutifully saves a copy of my message to the drafts folder. However, because of my IMAP configuration, it somehow generates an additional copy of my message in my drafts folder. I'm sync'd with Gmail, and I configured the IMAP following the instructions from life hacker ( lifehacker.
5) Reproduce?
I haven't tried to reproduce the bug yet. I'll let you know if it keeps bugging me (grin).
My guess is that if I poke around in the IMAP settings, there is some esoteric option that will fix this for me. Will you please let me know where that option is? Thank you so much. I love open source!
Cheers,
jCarroll

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release?
Is it possible that messages are being sent to gmail and returned to be placed in your drafts folder? I do not use either gmail or thunderbird, but that is what this sounds like.
Thanks in advance.
