X crash on firefox browse a webpage x86-64

when I'm going to visit this page: "ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu_Edgy" , X disappear, and it brought me to the gdm login interface.

I didn't try this under 32bit sys.

This is really a long time, but fortunately there is no such problem again
on my two computers with the latest version ubuntu.
