Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

When I go to Myspace.com then login.. When my page loads it will crash the browser and it will close. It could be from the Flash but I am not sure. Other pages load fine. Youtube works fine which runs flash so it possibly could be from java? It seemed to work fine earlier today right after installing 8.04.. But now it doesn't. Tested on two computers that I upgraded to 8.04 today and same results. I am using the Flash plugin non-free.

I found out more... It's Ad Block Plus plug-in that causes the problem. It happens on Two computers running 8.04. It's Definitely Ad Block Plus with FF 3.0b5

I don't know why it says Installed (none)... I just reinstalled it. I am using the EasyList USA subscription.
And it killed the page again.

thebigbluecan, the reason it says uninstalled (none) is because you dont have the one from the repos installed. the one from repos works for me and we cant support packages that are not gotten from our repos. please install ours and try it

Well I Got rid of Ubuntu 32bit and tried 64 bit... I think it runs alot better for some reason, and Adblock Plus works now! YAY! I still couldn't figure it out, and hopefully I was the only one having that problem.

fwiw, if 64 bit is better this is most likely a fall-out of general
flash instabilities we see. Flash is technically better guarded on
64-bit.
